Dentistry From The Heart

March 24, 2012, Williamsburg, VA

Dentistry From The Heart is a registered non-profit organization supported by a network of volunteer dental practices across the United States and into Canada. Each year, Dr. Gore volunteers his time and service for this great cause. This year he was accompanied by his daughter and our clinical partner Deb to give back to the community. Dentistry From the Heart's main goal is to spread the giving spirit of dentistry to those in need.

Since being organized in 2001, Dentistry From The Heart events have contributed more than $8 million in free dentistry and helped more than 76,000 patients across North America. For the many patients who benefit from the organization, Dentistry From The Heart does more than repair a smile - it inspires confidence.  Please visit the website www.dentistryfromtheheart.org  for more details of this wonderful charity. Midlothian Dental Center is dedicated to promoting health and well-being to our patients and to our community. We are grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this event.

Midlothian Dental Center Gives Back

May 22, 2010, Mechanicsville, VA

The slightly overcast sky offered a perfect environment for the running of the Ashcreek 5K and Fun Run, “Families Helping Families” and most of the staff of Midlothian Dental Center turned out with their own families to walk/run/ or ride in a stroller in support of a great cause.

Dr. Scott Gore is acquainted with Amy Foley, Race Director, (and fabulous patient!), and he was inspired by the goal of the organization called “Hope for Families Worldwide”, which is the beneficiary of the proceeds of the race.  Race prizes are donated by community businesses, so that truly 100% the proceeds of the entry fees of this year’s race are going directly to the project of Camp Hope locally in Richmond!    Please visit the website www.ashcreek5K.com for more details and photos of this wonderful charity.

As a local business, as families, and as neighbors, we are dedicated to promoting health and well-being to our patients and to our community and we are grateful to have had the opportunity to participate in this event. Just before the rain began, prizes were awarded, and the MDC Milers were awarded the prize for “Largest Team”!  We look forward to next year’s race, and will challenge more of our patients and neighbors to join us make the event even more successful, giving more kids a chance to attend Camp Hope. Midlothian Dental Center:  grateful to be your dental care provider, honored to “Give Back!”
