Dr. Hoover is a Richmond native, growing up in Chesterfield County, graduating from Thomas Dale High and ultimately going on to dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he graduated in 2007.

His childhood dentist was also his soccer coach, and it was that family-friendly lifestyle that drew him to the profession. Dr. Hoover always felt compelled to help people – a childhood dream second only to becoming a professional baseball player of course.
Today, Dr. Hoover sees all types of patients, and provides routine dental care, as well as meeting patients’ more complex needs, from veneers and bleaching to fillings and partials. He also remains a huge sports fan – and catches a Richmond Flying Squirrels baseball game whenever he can.
Dr. Hoover continues to study the latest breakthroughs in implants and use of Invisalign. He co-founded the Central Virginia Dental Care, where he served as founding secretary for two years. Dr. Hoover then took on the role of Treasurer in 2019-2020. He is now serving in his second year as Vice-Chairman.
