Dr. Katherine S. Louscher is a dentist at Midlothian Dental Center, Hull Street. She specializes in restorative, preventative and diagnostic dental care as well as treatment development and procedural examinations. Dr. Louscher earned her bachelor’s and master’s at the University of Arkansas and continued her higher education at the University of Iowa, where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.
Before practicing at Midlothian Dental Center, Dr. Louscher devoted her career to helping those in need. She was previously involved in Mission of Mercy in both Arkansas and Iowa. These organizations help to provide transformative care to volunteer work such as free dental clinics regardless of age or income. One of her favorite aspects of dentistry is building relationships with each of her patients, allowing her the space to provide individualized treatment and help them achieve their dental health goals.
Dr. Louscher met her husband, Kane Louscher, while attending the same dental school. The two made Richmond their home when Dr. Kane Louscher began to study Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University. The two have greatly enjoyed exploring the city together, and Dr. Louscher has already crowned Stella’s as her favorite local restaurant!
When she is not fulfilling her career dreams at our office, Dr. Louscher can be found running like Forrest Gump! She is currently working on qualifying for the Boston Marathon and will be running her 5th marathon in October 2022! Some other activities she loves include spending time with friends and family, being outdoors for activities like biking and skiing, and even cooking up a masterpiece in the kitchen.
